The Good Life
During the summer term our Year 5 class (now Y6) worked on a project to create a set of web based games on the theme of healthy eating. These are now live on the internet. Click here and follow the link to 'Feeding Our Future' to have some healthy fun!
Safari Week ... We have regular 'theme weeks'. These are when the whole school takes a focus and explores it through a variety of learning experiences and a combination of curriculum areas. Safari Wek took place before the Autumn half-term, 2006, and was a great success. This sample, created by children, uses Photostory as a recording medium. Musicians recorded and modified african drum rhythms using digital technology; some children recorded themselves reading extracts from poems they wrote; other children created masks; others wrote a 'picture story'in traditional african style. The .wmv file is a small sample of the work they completed during the week.
