School Mission
Our logo is 'Bringing Learning Alive'; our overall vision being to make learning experiences exciting, up to date and fun.
This philosophy, along with the Aims of the school, is held at the heart of all decisions made regarding our children.
Aims
The current aims of Heath Hayes Primary School are the five outcomes of the ECM agenda, universal ambitions for every child,
that were identified as being most important to children and young people i.e.
- Be healthy
- Stay safe
- Enjoy and achieve
- Make a positive contribution
-
Achieve economic well-being
Improving these mutually reinforcing outcomes for all our pupils underpins our development and work.
The underlying purposes of these aims are:
- to develop well-rounded individuals who are able to cope independently with the challenges of life in the real world
- to maintain a consistent effort to raise standards to each individual’s highest level of attainment and achievement
- to deliver a broad, balanced, relevant and stimulating curriculum; encouraging children to develop knowledge, skills and understanding which will be relevant to their future needs and role in society
- to support inclusion by providing a positive atmosphere which encourages proper consideration of, and respect for, individuals
and cultures
- to encourage the involvement, within our school, of parents and the wider community to enhance children’s learning
